Shopping Bag Machines

Fidia Macchine Grafiche has the solution for the automatic production of shopping bags. With the automatic shopping bag machines, we reduce production time. Likewise, we increase productivity and especially we reach excellent quality without any waste.

The Shopping Bag machines consist of two independent machines: the first one, to make the shopping bag tube, called Vampa-Trevi. The second one, to open and form the shopping bag square bottom (patented system®), called Navona.

Vampa-Trevi | Shopping bag tube making machine, including in line creasing, inserting of reinforcing carton on the handles, the relevant folding, making the gussets, and folding and gluing the shopping bag tube.

Navona | Square bottom making machine including opening on the bottom, inserting of the reinforcing carton, folding and gluing of the bottom, and punching of the handles.

Alongside the complete line, Fidia Macchine Grafiche has developed some individual machines to help the process for those customers who already have some automatic solutions. To insert and glue the carton reinforcing handles on the shopping bags, called Vampa Base.

Vampa Base | Including in line creasing, inserting of reinforcing carton on the handles, and the relevant folding. To finish the shopping bag square bottom (patented system®), called Navona Base.

Navona Base | Square bottom making machine including opening on the bottom, inserting of the reinforcing carton, and plough folding. Other shopping bag ancillary machines are under construction.

Paper overlapping machine: this equipment will help to overlap two single sheets previously printed. Handles die-cutting unit: this unit will be located after the Navona and will die cut a handle shape within the reinforced handles.
